Doug Hertz
PrincipalDoug is responsible for technology, design and finance for Sunrise Solar. He is certified by the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) the highest certification in the solar industry. Doug provides educational presentations to groups ranging from building inspectors to the American Solar Energy Society. He serves in his hometown of Mt. Kisco, NY on both the Planning Board and the Energy Advisory Panel. Doug also sits on the boards of the New York League of Conservation Voters, Westchester Chapter and The Center for Sustainable Design. Doug graduated from Brown University where he first studied alternative energy under the famed Barrett Hazeltine.
Eric Messer
PrincipalEric has been in the residential and commercial construction business in the Tristate area for over thirty years. Over the years he has utilized his expertise and local knowledge to guide Sunrise to its status as one of the Northeast's leading solar providers. He sits on the board of the Building and Realty Institute and is Chairman of its Remodelers Advisory Council where he has been a member since 1984. He is also a trustee for a New York chapter of the Home Builders' Association of America.
Rand Manasse
Chief Operating OfficerRand Manasse is the Chief Operating Officer at Sunrise Solar. He also serves on the boards of MTN Capital Partners, Reference Systems, Inc., the Chappaqua-Millwood Chamber of Commerce, Temple Beth El of Northern Westchester and Yardarm HOA. Rand has an MBA in Finance from New York University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire. He has lived in Chappaqua for 27 years and is actively involved in the local community supporting youth groups and religious organizations. He is the author of several articles on business topics, such as integrated manufacturing solutions, financial systems for CPA firms, and business networking.
